Boondo mai chalti apni kashtiyan thi
garmi ke khelo mai bhi mastiyan thi
jhoomta gaata ...ladkhata har kadam tha
jaane kab daman chuta ushka.. woh
ek masoom bachpan tha.. !

Maa ke anchal mai duniya sameti
papa ki daanth se kamjoriyan jeeti
dhoop ho yaa chaao ho.. rangin har mosam tha
nazaarien churaa ke nikal gaya kahin
ek masoom bachpan tha..!

Yaaro ki yaari mai suhana har pal hua
jeete the puri tarah jise ..aj woh beeta kal hua
doondte reh gaye pichli galiyon mai..woh bewafa saman tha
aaj bhi yaad aaye ushki badi ... wahi jo
ek masoom bachpan tha..!
